News clipping software

We are implementing a highly advanced n-tier software system for the automated clipping of articles, news & publications from printed and electronic sources. The software, build over the latest Microsoft .NET techologies (WPF, WCF...), is capable of indexing in its database, a huge number of scanned and digital publications, either grubbed or imported automatically from newspapers, magazines, TV shows (video), radio transmissions (sound), websites, blogs and social media posts (Facebook and Twitter). The software system, as per the client's requirements, provides the necessary tools to massively & efficiently evaluate posts and articles as negative, positive, neutral etc. and produce advanced reports about audience and media trends. Advanced filtering, grouping & taxonomy help users to find information quickly, while keyword searching & highlighting on digital documents (using OCR technologies for scanned articles) make productiveness even higher.
